Hello everyone! My name is John Marrs and welcome to my sports blog. This blog is going to be used to talk about and discuss recent events going on in the sports world.

A little bit about myself; I am a 21 year old college athlete at East Texas Baptist University, studying sports communication. I play baseball in college, but I have also played football and basketball at the high school level so i understand the ins and outs of the sports world. Seeing all this controversial news in the sports world has tempted me to create this blog that will spark conversation and debates about all the news happening in the sports world.

Late January, early February is a very interesting time for sports because the majority of the major sports leagues are playing or getting ready to play. Football season is coming towards a close with the upcoming Super Bowl, basketball season is in full swing with their season (professional & college), hockey is in the middle of their season, and baseball is quickly approaching spring training. Anything from Super Bowl predictions to free agent signings in the MLB will be covered here on this blog!
